Physiotherapist (Level 1)

About the role

Southern Cross Care is hiring a Level 1 Physiotherapist for its Health & Fitness team at the Carmelite Health and Fitness Centre in South Australia. This is a permanent full-time position working Monday to Friday, open to new graduates. The physiotherapist delivers goal-based care to improve the physical, mental and social wellbeing of clients, working both on-site and off-site across the centre and home care settings.

Key responsibilities

• Create treatment plans that help older people live safely and independently.
• Work within a supportive multidisciplinary team, contributing physiotherapy insights to guide reablement strategies and promote healthy ageing.
• Deliver care to older people in both the Health & Fitness Centre and home care settings.

Required profile

• Bachelor or master's degree in Physiotherapy with current, unrestricted AHPRA registration.
• Valid driver's licence, and current Senior First Aid and CPR certificates.
• Experience or interest in aged care, reablement pathways and health promotion.
• Friendly, person-centred communication skills.
• Ability to work both as a team member and autonomously.
