About the role
The Pharmacy Technician will support the delivery of pharmaceutical services across regional and remote health settings, contributing to medicine distribution, inventory control, PBS claim processing and dispensing activities.
Key responsibilities
- Participate in medicine distribution, dispensing and stock control processes.
- Process PBS claims and manage pharmacy computing systems.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and support quality improvement initiatives.
Required profile
- Experience in medicine distribution, dispensing, stock control and PBS processes.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills when working with patients and healthcare staff.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Required skills
- Pharmacy computing systems operation.
- Inventory management.
- Knowledge of PBS processes.
