Pharmacy Assistant - Riverside

About the role

TerryWhite Chemmart Riverside, a community pharmacy in Riverside Plaza, Riverside, Tasmania, is looking for an enthusiastic Pharmacy Assistant to join its friendly and supportive team. The role works 16-38 hours per week across the two Riverside stores, with regular shifts that may include a late shift; occasional Saturday work is highly regarded. Pharmacy Assistants are often the first point of contact for customers and help create a welcoming, professional pharmacy experience.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service and support retail sales.
• Maintain a high standard of merchandising and store presentation.
• Support day-to-day pharmacy operations, including housekeeping and stock awareness.
• Use pharmacy systems and computers confidently.
• Manage multiple tasks in a busy and varied environment.
• Communicate well with customers and filter enquiries appropriately.

Required profile

• Previous customer service or pharmacy experience is advantageous.
• S2S3 qualification is preferable.
• Flexible availability, including weekdays, evenings and weekends.
• Eagerness to learn and develop skills.
• Strong attention to detail, a positive team-focused mindset and enjoyment of helping customers and colleagues.
• Right to live and work in Australia.
