Pharmacist (Medicinal Cannabis)

About the role

Join RAYS Wellness, Australia's award‑winning medicinal cannabis dispensary, as a Pharmacist in Brisbane. You will work in a purpose‑built, modern dispensary focusing on meaningful patient interactions and clinical collaboration.

Key responsibilities

• Provide exceptional patient care in‑person and over the phone.
• Dispense and check medicinal cannabis prescriptions with accuracy.
• Verify prescriptions in line with TGA, SAS‑B, authorised prescriber and state legislation.
• Support safe management of Schedule 8 medicines and maintain pharmacy inventory.
• Build strong relationships with prescribing clinicians and telehealth partners.
• Assist with dispensing workflows, quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with pharmacists, technicians and the broader healthcare team.

Required skills

• Current unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Pharmacist.
• Bachelor of Pharmacy (or equivalent).
• Strong clinical knowledge of medicinal cannabis.
• Knowledge of TGA prescription verification and Schedule 8 medicines management.
