Personal Care Worker – St Paul's Terrace

About the role

Benetas is recruiting an experienced Personal Care Worker for St Paul's Terrace, an aged care facility in Frankston South with 80 residents. The role sits within a team of 2,000+ people supporting over 15,000 older Victorians through aged care services. The roster is set fortnightly across Night Duty and AM shifts: Week 1 (Monday to Wednesday) is Night Duty, Week 2 (Wednesday to Friday) is AM.

Key responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal care and daily living
• Support residents' mobility and wellbeing
• Observe and report changes in residents' condition
• Maintain accurate care documentation
• Build genuine, supportive relationships with residents

Required profile

• Completed or currently studying a Certificate III or higher in Individual Support, Aged Care or a related qualification, or the first year of nursing studies and placements
• Previous experience in residential aged care
• Availability to commit to the advertised fortnightly roster, including both Night Duty and AM shifts
• Genuine passion for caring for older people and ability to build positive relationships with residents
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a care team
• Current NDIS Worker Screening Check or ability to obtain one
