Personal Care Worker

About the role

Estia Health is looking for a Personal Care Worker in Encounter Bay. The role supports residents in aged care homes, helping them feel heard, comfortable and well fed, while keeping their bodies and minds active and respecting their privacy and dignity.

Key responsibilities

• Lend a hand with daily life so residents feel heard, comfortable and well fed
• Support residents with challenging needs alongside the team
• Help keep residents' bodies and minds active
• Help keep tabs on residents' health and assist with treatments
• Act as a friend to residents
• Ensure every resident's privacy and dignity is respected

Required profile

• A real desire to make a difference in people's lives
• Certificate III or IV in Aged Care
• Experience working as a caregiver or similar
• Team player and great communicator

Required skills

• Solid clinical documentation skills
• Computer skills
