About the role

Estia Health Dandenong, an aged care provider with 96 homes across Queensland, New South Wales, South Australia and Victoria, is looking for an experienced carer to join its team as a Personal Care Attendant/Worker on a casual basis. The home is close to Dandenong Hospital, public transport and a multicultural shopping area.

Key responsibilities

• Lend a hand with daily life so residents feel heard, comfortable and well fed
• Support residents with challenging needs alongside the team
• Help keep residents' bodies and minds active
• Help monitor residents' health and assist with treatments
• Be a friend to residents and respect everyone's privacy and dignity

Required profile

• A real desire to make a difference in people's lives
• Certificate III or IV in Aged Care
• Experience working as a caregiver or similar
• Solid clinical documentation and computer skills
