Personal Care Worker - Aged Care

About the role

Estia Health is recruiting a Personal Care Worker for its aged care homes in Bendigo. The organisation offers dual care worker opportunities: staff can be rostered in traditional Care Worker shifts or blended Care and Nutrition shifts, with the same pay rate for both. The work is person-centred and involves supporting residents' daily lives, health and wellbeing.

Key responsibilities

• Help residents with their daily lives so they feel heard, comfortable and well fed, including assisting with meals and drinks
• Support residents with challenging needs alongside the care team
• Help keep residents' bodies and minds active
• Monitor residents' health and help with treatments
• Act as a friend to residents and respect everyone's privacy and dignity

Required profile

• A genuine desire to make a difference in people's lives
• Certificate III or IV in Aged Care
• Experience working as a caregiver or in a similar role
• Solid clinical documentation and computer skills
