Personal Banker – Adelaide

About the role

As a Personal Banker at Suncorp Bank in Adelaide, you will deliver high‑quality sales and service to customers across our banking channels. The role focuses on guiding customers to use digital banking tools while ensuring their best interests are at the heart of every interaction.

Key responsibilities

• Support and educate customers on digital platforms, encouraging self‑service through online banking.
• Facilitate digital onboarding for new clients, ensuring a smooth transition to Suncorp’s services.
• Conduct “connect conversation” framework interactions, acting in customers’ best interests.
• Contribute to growth of lending and deposit portfolios through proactive sales.
• Collaborate with team members and broader Suncorp functions to achieve strategic goals.
• Maintain compliance with processes, procedures and risk appetite.

Required profile

• Experience in a retail customer sales and service environment.
• Comfortable engaging with customers face‑to‑face and via digital channels.
• Strong commitment to acting in customers’ best interests.
• Ability to work part‑time (20 hours per week) and follow a development plan.

Required skills

• Proficiency with digital banking platforms and online onboarding tools.
• Good understanding of banking products, lending and deposit services.
