People & Culture Coordinator

About the role

Join a dynamic, community‑focused organisation as a People & Culture Coordinator. Reporting to the People & Culture Manager, you will gain hands‑on experience across the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment to payroll support, while seeing the direct impact of your work on the people we serve.

Key responsibilities

• Support HR processes, systems and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assist with recruitment, onboarding, development, engagement and off‑boarding activities.
• Coordinate onboarding, induction, workshops and training programs in partnership with the Talent Manager.
• Provide payroll administration support and HRIS reporting alongside the Payroll Specialist.
• Maintain accurate HR records, documentation and reporting.
• Contribute to People & Culture projects that enhance employee experience.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 months experience in HR administration or a Cert IV in Human Resources (or equivalent).
• Australian working rights.
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for producing organised work.
• Initiative, curiosity and a collaborative mindset.
• Ability to follow direction, think critically and suggest process improvements.

Required skills

• Experience with HRIS and HR systems.
• Payroll administration knowledge.
