People & Culture Coordinator (Human Resources)

About the role

The People & Culture Coordinator will support the employee lifecycle for Viktoria & Woods, a premium Australian fashion brand. Reporting to the People & Culture Manager, this full‑time, fixed‑term position offers hands‑on experience across onboarding, recruitment, HR administration and payroll in a fast‑moving retail environment.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, employment changes and off‑boarding.
• Manage new starter induction, onboarding activities and related administration.
• Maintain accurate employee records in the HRIS and ensure compliance with Australian employment legislation.
• Support recruitment by posting ads, screening resumes and scheduling interviews.
• Prepare and submit payroll data, leave records and employment changes.
• Manage the HR inbox, responding to routine policy enquiries and employee questions.
• Produce HR reports, metrics and correspondence for management.
• Assist with ad‑hoc People & Culture administration duties and compliance tasks.

Required skills

• Experience with HR information systems (HRIS).
• Familiarity with payroll preparation and submission.
• Proficiency in preparing HR reports and maintaining confidential records.
