People and Culture Coordinator

About the role

The People and Culture Coordinator supports the end‑to‑end employee experience at the RCH Foundation. Working three days a week, you will ensure HR operations run smoothly and help build a people‑first culture across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Provide operational and administrative support for the full employee lifecycle.
• Assist senior leadership in developing people, processes and organisational culture.
• Collaborate with multiple departments to drive operational excellence and continuous improvement.
• Maintain HR records, manage calendars of events and support recruitment and learning‑and‑development activities.
• Report to the Manager, People and Culture and liaise with the Executive Assistant to the CEO.

Required profile

• Purpose‑driven with a commitment to the RCH Foundation’s mission.
• 2+ years of experience in a people‑and‑culture role.
• Tertiary qualification in Human Resources Management or a related field.
• Understanding of employment law, HR best practices and recruitment or L&D administration.
• Excellent written and oral communication, discretion and strong interpersonal skills.
• Highly organised with a proactive, detail‑oriented approach.
• Experience in not‑for‑profit or fundraising organisations is desirable.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Office 365.
• Experience using a Human Resources Information System (HRIS).
