People and Culture Business Partner

About the role

Country Club Tasmania, a resort destination in Prospect Vale owned by Federal Hospitality, is looking for an experienced People and Culture Business Partner. Reporting to the People and Culture Manager, you will partner with leaders across a diverse operational portfolio, giving trusted advice and guidance across the full employee lifecycle. The resort is growing with a new Championship Golf Course and a broader Golf Precinct redevelopment.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with leaders across the business and provide guidance on people matters
• Build leadership capability and support employee engagement initiatives
• Navigate complex employee relations matters
• Contribute to workforce planning activities

Required profile

• Experienced HR professional who builds credibility quickly and partners confidently with leaders at all levels
• Strong understanding of employment legislation, employee relations and contemporary people practices
• Commercially minded, solutions focused and able to challenge established approaches constructively
• Collaborative approach that balances sound judgement with a progressive mindset
• Experience in hospitality, tourism, retail or another operationally focused environment is highly regarded, though not essential
