Payroll Enablement Advisor

About the role

The Payroll Enablement Advisor joins ANZ's Core Payroll team to drive payroll change initiatives, ensure compliance with Australian regulations, and support the delivery of system enhancements. You will work closely with Technology, Finance, and Initiative Delivery teams to keep payroll processes efficient and up‑to‑date.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, define and manage payroll change requirements across the organisation.
• Coordinate delivery of payroll fixes, enhancements and related change‑management activities.
• Perform release testing on SuccessFactors Employee Central and Employee Central Payroll.
• Monitor external and internal sources for pay‑impacting legislative and regulatory changes.
• Manage payroll incidents and collaborate with Technology, Payroll and other stakeholders.
• Update payroll procedure guides, process workbooks and provide internal training to the core payroll team.
• Support bank‑wide initiatives that include payroll components and assist with finance‑related reconciliation tasks.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in Australian payroll within a large organisation.
• Hands‑on experience with SuccessFactors Employee Central (EC) and Employee Central Payroll (ECP).
• Strong technical understanding of payroll delivery, payroll systems and Australian payroll regulations.
• Ability to work full‑time in a permanent, onsite role in Melbourne or Brisbane.
