Payroll and Accounts Administrator – Full‑time

About the role

Join a well‑established not‑for‑profit organisation in Subiaco, supporting conservation initiatives across Australia. As a member of a collaborative finance team, you will manage end‑to‑end payroll processing and provide day‑to‑day support for accounts administration.

Key responsibilities

• Process payroll accurately and meet all statutory deadlines.
• Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with Australian legislation, awards and superannuation requirements.
• Respond to employee payroll enquiries promptly and professionally.
• Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable and supplier payments.
• Reconcile payroll, bank and general ledger accounts as needed.
• Prepare invoices, employee reimbursements and support month‑end finance activities.
• Provide general administrative support to the finance team and contribute to process improvements.

Required profile

• Previous experience in payroll and/or accounts administration.
• Strong understanding of Australian payroll legislation and superannuation.
• High level of accuracy with excellent attention to detail.
• Organisational and time‑management skills to handle competing priorities.
• Effective communication and a proactive, team‑oriented attitude.
