Part‑time Kindergarten Teacher (0.6 FTE)

About the role

ACC Hobart, a co‑educational K‑10 Christian school, is looking for a passionate part‑time Kindergarten teacher (0.6 FTE) to start in Term 3 2026. The role focuses on nurturing students spiritually, academically, socially and physically within a biblically‑grounded learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead Christian formation and pastoral care for Kindergarten students.
• Deliver the prescribed curriculum using an Explicit Instruction model where possible.
• Create an inclusive, cross‑cultural classroom that engages students and develops their interests, skills and abilities.
• Participate in staff meetings, extra‑curricular activities and maintain effective communication with parents.

Required profile

• Relevant bachelor's degree and any additional teaching qualifications (e.g., Master of Education).
• Strong relational skills and a commitment to holistic student welfare.
• Collaborative mindset for developing and implementing teaching programs.
• A vibrant Christian faith and a servant‑hearted approach.
