Parts Interpreter – Agricultural Equipment

About the role

The Parts Interpreter role is a permanent full‑time position based at our Ingham branch, supporting customers with parts requirements for agricultural machinery and equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret and process customer parts requirements via counter, email and phone.
• Manage all aspects of parts sales, including sourcing, ordering and invoicing.
• Maintain strong product knowledge and provide timely, professional customer service.
• Develop and sustain positive relationships with customers and freight providers.
• Record and follow up on enquiries, monitor stock levels and participate in stocktakes.
• Assist with freight administration, loading/unloading using a forklift and track customer trends for the Parts Manager.

Required profile

• Previous parts experience in the agricultural industry.
• Understanding or background in agriculture.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Willingness to work outside normal business hours if required.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
• Ability to quickly learn in‑house computer programs.
• Forklift licence (highly desirable).
