Part-Time Quality Pharmacist (Compounding)

About the role

Slade Health, part of Icon Oncology Group, is growing its Mt Kuring-Gai facility and is seeking an Ahpra-registered pharmacist to join its Quality team. The role reviews, verifies and releases compounded medicines so they meet strict quality, safety and regulatory standards before reaching hospitals and patients. No pharmaceutical manufacturing experience is required; training and support are provided. The position is permanent and part-time, with shifts every Monday, Tuesday and Friday from 3:00pm to 11:00pm (hours may later become 5:00pm to 1:00am).

Key responsibilities

• Release finished products, including oncology medications, antibiotics and TPN.
• Ensure products are compounded according to specifications and documentation.
• Maintain adherence to quality management systems and procedures.
• Help develop and revise quality documents.
• Review and manage product non-conformances, escalating where required.
• Record incidents, deviations and complaints accurately in the quality management system.

Required profile

• Ahpra-registered pharmacist with current general registration and no practice restrictions.
• Permanent Australian working rights.
• Availability for occasional weekend shifts.
• Own transport to the site, which is in a quiet industrial area north of Sydney; free onsite parking is available.
• Desirable: compounding or oncology pharmacy experience.
