Part-Time Oral Health Therapist

About the role

EVP Dental, part of Bupa Dental, is looking for an experienced, passionate and customer-focused Oral Health Therapist to join its practice in Victoria Park, Western Australia, on a part-time basis, working Mondays and Fridays. The practice takes on key dental procedures so that more patients can be seen more regularly, and the well-managed appointment system gives therapists the time they need to deliver patient care.

Key responsibilities

• Assist patients in developing and maintaining good oral health
• Interpret treatment plans, aims and objectives accurately and keep detailed clinical records
• Gather data relevant to the dentist's direction and assess patients' presenting condition
• Follow infection control protocols and practices
• Provide routine dental treatment for people of all ages, including examinations and diagnosis
• Treat oral health conditions, taking radiographs and providing fluoride therapy
• Promote comprehensive dentistry and active maintenance
