Part-Time After-Hours Supervisor Registered Nurse

About the role

Respect, Regional Australia's largest aged care provider, is recruiting a Part-Time After-Hours Supervisor - Grade 5 Registered Nurse at its RM Begg facility in Kyneton. The role leads and supports care staff, oversees safe medication management and ensures high-quality, person-centred care. Availability is required across morning, afternoon and night shifts, including weekdays and weekends.

Key responsibilities

• Complete required funding assessments and clinical documentation accurately and efficiently, supporting compliance and quality care outcomes
• Maintain high-quality, contemporaneous documentation reflecting care delivery and clinical decision-making
• Provide clinical leadership and supervision to Enrolled Nurses and Extended Care Assistants, supporting safe practice and professional standards
• Uphold confidentiality and ensure staff follow organisational policies and procedures
• Give clear, concise shift handover and reporting to the Care Manager and General Manager, and identify training and development needs within the team

Required profile

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse with no restrictions to practice
• Demonstrated clinical experience, preferably in aged care or a related healthcare setting
• At least five years' nursing experience, including after-hours supervisory experience
• Sound knowledge of aged care standards, legislation and best practice
• Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including night duty
