About the role

A locum Palliative Care Specialist is sought in Regional Victoria, working between 08:30 and 17:00 in inpatient, consultation liaison, community and regional settings. After-hours on-call duty is approximately 1 in 3. The position is available from ASAP, with the start date listed as 6 November 2026.

Key responsibilities

Provide palliative care services in inpatient, consultation liaison, community and regional settings during daytime hours.
Be on call after hours, approximately one third of the time.

Required profile

Specialist registration with AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency).
Preference for previous geriatric or rehabilitation medicine experience.

$2,200 per day.
