About the role
Eptec is seeking skilled Painters and Abrasive Blasters to join its team at Garden Island, NSW. The role involves surface and paint preparation, general site maintenance, and working in confined spaces with occasional overtime and weekend work.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces and apply paint using industrial spray equipment and hand tools.
- Perform abrasive blasting and general site maintenance tasks.
- Handle manual labour and equipment safely, including work in confined spaces.
Required profile
- 2‑3 years of relevant experience in industrial painting or abrasive blasting.
- Strong safety mindset with a nationally accredited OHS (White/Blue) Card.
- Ability to pass a pre‑employment medical and police check.
Required skills
- Industrial spray painting.
- Roller/brush painting techniques.
- EWP (Elevated Work Platform) operation (advantageous).
- Working at heights certification (advantageous).
- Confined space ticket.
