Paediatric Occupational Therapist

About the role

Mars Healthcare is recruiting a Paediatric Occupational Therapist for a well-established practice in Frenchs Forest, on Sydney's Northern Beaches, which has supported children and families for more than 30 years. The clinic is purpose-built for paediatric therapy, with 11 treatment rooms and two sensory gyms. You will work primarily from the clinic, with opportunities to work within schools and the community as your experience grows.

Key responsibilities

• Support children across a range of developmental and functional needs, mainly from the clinic
• Provide quality, individualised therapy rather than simply chasing billable hours
• Work within schools and the community as your experience and interests develop

Required profile

• Passionate about working with children, positive, approachable and team-focused
• Keen to continue developing clinically and comfortable taking initiative and asking questions
• Committed to high-quality, individualised therapy and genuinely enjoys being part of a team
• New graduates are welcome, as is experienced OTs; a structured supervision and development framework supports new graduates

What we offer

• Salary of AU$78,000 to AU$110,000 per year plus superannuation and bonus
• Working week: Monday to Thursday 8:00am-5:00pm, Friday 8:00am-2:30pm, about 25 billable hours per week, with dedicated administration time and appointments on the hour
• Weekly supervision for new graduates, moving to fortnightly after the first year, plus peer supervision for experienced clinicians
• $1,000 annual CPD allowance and 3 paid days for professional development
