Package Manager - Construction

About the role

We are seeking a Package Manager to lead a $100M multidisciplinary construction package from concept to delivery on a major project in Perth. The role oversees scope definition, contractor engagement, fabrication oversight and on‑site execution, ensuring safety, schedule and budget targets are met.

Key responsibilities

• Develop scope of work for the SMPEI package and lead contractor evaluation and award.
• Manage contract performance, focusing on steel and piping spool fabrication.
• Own and coordinate all package‑related activities, supporting Area Managers as needed.
• Interface with engineering and technical teams to resolve contractor queries and expedite outcomes.
• Apply project experience to optimise construction planning and execution.
• Monitor scope, cost, schedule and quality to ensure delivery targets.
• Lead meetings, manage stakeholders and maintain clear communication.
• Manage change across the package lifecycle, including fabrication, delivery and construction.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety standards and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Degree in Engineering, Construction or related discipline.
• 5–15 years experience on EPC/EPCM projects, including complex multidisciplinary construction sites.
• Proven experience managing large construction packages and contractor performance.
• Strong ability to coordinate across engineering, construction and contractor teams.
