OutSystems Developer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced OutSystems Developer to join our team in Melbourne on a 6‑month fixed‑term contract. You will be responsible for designing, building, and deploying enterprise‑grade web and mobile applications using the OutSystems low‑code platform, working closely with both business and technical stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy applications on the OutSystems platform.
• Translate business requirements into scalable, maintainable technical solutions.
• Troubleshoot defects, analyse root causes and implement performance improvements.
• Ensure code complies with security standards, coding guidelines and enterprise architecture.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, backlog refinement and retrospectives.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, reusable components and release notes.
• Collaborate with architects, product owners, analysts, QA teams and client stakeholders.
• Provide knowledge transfer and mentor junior developers as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience delivering complex enterprise or web applications.
• Proven experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Understanding of secure development practices and enterprise delivery standards.
• Strong communication, problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.
