OutSystems Developer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced OutSystems Developer to join our team in Melbourne on a 6‑month fixed‑term contract. You will design, build, and deploy enterprise‑grade web and mobile applications using the OutSystems low‑code platform, working closely with business and technical stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy applications on the OutSystems platform.
• Translate business requirements into scalable, maintainable technical solutions.
• Troubleshoot defects, analyse root causes, and implement performance improvements.
• Ensure code complies with security standards and enterprise architecture guidelines.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand‑ups, and retrospectives.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, reusable components, and release notes.
• Collaborate with architects, product owners, analysts, QA, and client stakeholders.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to continuous engineering improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or related field.
• 5+ years of experience delivering complex enterprise/web applications.
• Proven experience in Agile/Scrum environments using tools like JIRA.
• Strong communication, problem‑solving, and attention‑to‑detail skills.
