Outsystems Developer (6+ month contract)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Outsystems Developer to design, build, and maintain enterprise‑grade web and mobile applications on the Outsystems low‑code platform. The role is contract‑based (6+ months) and based in Melbourne, offering the chance to work closely with business and technical stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy applications using the Outsystems platform.
• Translate business requirements into scalable, maintainable technical solutions.
• Troubleshoot defects, analyse root causes and implement performance improvements.
• Ensure code complies with security standards, coding guidelines and enterprise architecture.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, and retrospectives.
• Prepare technical documentation, reusable components and release notes.
• Collaborate with architects, product owners, analysts, QA and client stakeholders.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to continuous improvement of engineering practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience delivering complex enterprise/web applications.
• Proven experience in Agile/Scrum environments using tools like JIRA.
• Strong communication, problem‑solving and attention‑to‑detail.
