OSHC Casual Educator - Pimpama

About the role

Junior Adventures Group (JAG) is recruiting a casual OSHC educator for its Helping Hands Pimpama service. The role supports primary school children through play in fun, engaging environments and suits university students, parents or anyone needing midday flexibility. It fits around your university timetable, placements and other commitments.

Key responsibilities

• Work with primary school children in the morning Rise then Shine program (6:00am - 9:00am, Monday to Friday) and the afternoon Stay and Play program (2:00pm - 6:00pm, Monday to Friday).
• Create exciting, engaging and memorable experiences for children.
• Work extra hours during school holidays.

Required profile

• Desirable but not mandatory: working towards or having completed a 1 or 2 Year Qualified Educator qualification in QLD under the ACECQA standard.
• Completed National Child Safety Training before onboarding (via Gecko).
• Available for at least 3 afternoon shifts per week.
• A genuine love for working with children and strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Team player with aspirations to take on leadership opportunities.
• Valid Australian work rights and willingness to obtain a national police check and a state working-with-children check (the employer covers the cost).

• Pay of $33 - $47 per hour plus superannuation.
