OSHC Casual Educator - Picnic Creek (Coomera)

About the role

Junior Adventures Group is recruiting a casual OSHC educator for its Helping Hands Picnic Creek centre in Coomera. The role supports primary school children through play in fun, engaging environments and suits university students, parents or anyone needing flexible midday hours. It fits around your university timetable, placements and other commitments.

Key responsibilities

• Work with primary school-aged children during morning shifts (6:00am - 9:00am, Monday to Friday, Rise then Shine Program) and afternoon shifts (2:00pm - 6:00pm, Monday to Friday, Stay and Play Program).
• Take extra hours during school holidays.
• Create engaging, memorable experiences for children.

Required profile

• Desirable but not mandatory: working towards or having completed a 1 or 2 Year Qualified Educator qualification in QLD under ACECQA.
• National Child Safety Training completed before onboarding (via Gecko).
• Available for at least 3 afternoon shifts per week.
• Valid Australian work rights.
• Willingness to hold a national police check (paid by the employer) and a state working-with-children check.
