OSHC Assistant Coordinator - Wellard Area

About the role

Junior Adventures Group (JAG) is recruiting a part-time Assistant Coordinator for its OSHClub service in the Wellard area, which runs outside-school-hours care for primary school-aged children. The role supports the day-to-day running of the service and delivers engaging programs, with support and training provided to build leadership confidence. It is a permanent part-time position of 32 hours per week, including 2 hours of paid administration time.

Key responsibilities

• Work split shifts covering Monday to Friday programs: Rise then Shine (6:30am - 8:45am) and Stay and Play (2:15pm - 6:00pm); additional hours may be available during school holidays.
• Assist in leading a team of Educators and mentor them.
• Build confidence in roster management, service operations, compliance and administration.
• Create child-led programs such as STEM, cooking, sport, art and craft.
• Foster positive relationships with children, families, schools and the wider community.

Required profile

• Hold or be actively working towards an ACECQA-recognised qualification, such as WA First Qualified Educator or WA Qualified Educator.
• Hold or be willing to obtain a national police check (paid by the employer).
• Australian working rights.
• Complete National Child Safety Training before onboarding (via Gecko).
