About the role
A 12-day locum block of orthopaedic surgery at Tamworth Hospital, running from Wednesday 4 November to Friday 27 November 2026. The work is split into four blocks of three days each, with shifts from 0700 to 1800 or 0700 to 1700. The rate is $3,500 per day, and flights are available.
Key responsibilities
- Perform orthopaedic surgery at Tamworth Hospital during the listed dates.
- Be qualified to perform shoulder procedures.
Required profile
- Current AHPRA registration.
- Primary degree, NSW hospital paperwork (LHD specific), NSW Health online training modules and immunisations.
- Fellowship and CPD certificate if applicable, references and CRC.
- NSW WWCC, indemnity, Medicare provider number and ID check.
- NSW declarations such as Hep B, TB and secondary employment, and code of conduct.
