Operations Manager (Multi-Venue)

About the role

SRG Hospitality is expanding its portfolio of premium venues from 12 to 17 and is appointing an Operations Manager to lead performance across a cluster of venues. The role partners closely with Venue Managers to stabilise operations, lift their capability and protect group standards. It is a full-time, hands-on leadership position, not a desk role, involving regular time in venues and work at night and on weekends when required.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure SRG standards are executed consistently across all venues, without reinterpretation
• Own labour efficiency, roster optimisation and cost control to protect margins
• Maintain audit-ready compliance with Liquor & Gaming NSW, Fair Work and WHS
• Coach and develop Venue Managers so they can operate independently
• Identify early warning signs and step in to stabilise underperforming venues
• Give senior leadership clear, timely operational insight

Required profile

• Proven experience in multi-venue operations or leading a large, complex hospitality site
• Open to either a multi-venue operator or a senior Venue General Manager ready for a step-up role
• Calm, confident leadership style, able to lead from the floor in challenging situations

Required skills

• Strong commercial capability across labour, rostering and cost control
• Understanding of Hospitality / Restaurant Awards and Fair Work obligations
• Knowledge of NSW liquor, gaming, RSA and compliance requirements

In the first 6-12 months, success looks like consistent standards, predictable labour and cost metrics, stronger Venue Managers and quick recovery of underperforming venues. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
