Operations, Maintenance & Presentation Coordinator

About the role

We are looking for an energetic, hands‑on Operations, Maintenance & Presentation Coordinator to take daily ownership of our retail assets. The role is based on‑site, working on the mall floor and back‑of‑house to keep the property pristine, safe and functional.

Key responsibilities

• Perform minor structural and carpentry repairs, including fixing furniture, doors, plasterboard and tiles.
• Touch‑up and repaint high‑traffic areas, ensuring a fresh, premium appearance.
• Handle basic plumbing (unblocking drains, replacing tap washers) and electrical tasks (changing globes or diffusers).
• Conduct daily walk‑throughs to correct loose signage, untidy fixtures and other visual defects.
• Carry out scheduled roof inspections, clear debris and respond quickly to leaks.
• Identify WHS hazards, conduct safety walks and manage contractor inductions, JSAs and permits.
• Maintain compliance logbooks for fire, lift and electrical testing services.
• Monitor retailer fit‑out activities, ensuring hoarding, dust control and presentation standards are met.

Required profile

• Proactive tradesperson or handyman with a strong pride in property presentation.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and respond rapidly to emergencies.
• Good eye for detail and commitment to safety and compliance.
