Operations Engineering Specialist

About the role

The Operations Engineering Specialist will serve as the centre of technical expertise for the Perth Region Field Services team. You will define scopes, produce accurate cost estimates and deliver practical engineering advice to support operational and capital projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, review and audit scopes of work for operational and capital projects.
• Prepare accurate cost estimates using data, benchmarking and best‑practice methodologies.
• Provide technical engineering advice on operational and asset issues.
• Support planning, prioritisation and delivery of regional programmes of work.
• Monitor delivery progress and advise on scope, cost and risk considerations.
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders to align on engineering solutions and outcomes.

Required profile

• Degree in Engineering (or equivalent qualification).
• Proven experience in an operational environment or infrastructure projects.
• Strong background in cost estimating and technical problem‑solving.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and deliver fit‑for‑purpose solutions.
• Motivated, organised and adaptable in a fast‑paced setting.
