OpenRoads Designer – Perth

About the role

WSP is expanding its Bridges, Aviation and Roads team in Perth and is looking for an OpenRoads Designer to contribute to major transport infrastructure projects across Western Australia. The role involves hands‑on civil design, model creation and documentation while collaborating with engineers, multidisciplinary teams and clients.

Key responsibilities

• Produce detailed road and civil designs using Bentley OpenRoads Designer.
• Develop and maintain high‑quality digital design models, drawings and technical documentation.
• Support the delivery of complex transport infrastructure projects from concept through construction stages.
• Apply Safety in Design principles and quality assurance processes.
• Ensure compliance with Australian Standards, Main Roads WA and PTA requirements.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in road and civil design within a consulting or infrastructure delivery environment.
• Strong knowledge of Austroads guidelines, Main Roads WA standards and specifications.
• Demonstrated ability to solve geometric design challenges on large‑scale projects.

• Bentley OpenRoads Designer, including feature definitions, templates, libraries, references, drawing production and model management.
