Onboarding Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a New Hire Experience Specialist to deliver a seamless onboarding journey for employees across Australia and New Zealand. Based in Sydney’s CBD, you will work on a hybrid schedule, leading virtual orientation sessions and supporting new hires throughout their first week.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate virtual onboarding and orientation programs for new employees across ANZ.
• Deliver engaging sessions on company culture, values, products, tools and performance frameworks.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for onboarding‑related queries during the first week.
• Coordinate onboarding schedules, learning activities and cohort communication channels.
• Collaborate with HR, procurement, security, IT and other stakeholders to resolve onboarding issues.
• Maintain and update onboarding materials to reflect local business changes.
• Track onboarding metrics and produce regular reports.
• Organise smaller employee events and ongoing onboarding activities throughout the year.
• Support continuous‑improvement initiatives for the onboarding experience.

Required profile

• 2‑4 years of experience in onboarding, learning & development, employee experience, recruitment coordination or corporate events.
• Strong facilitation and presentation abilities, with experience delivering virtual training.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Highly organised, able to manage multiple activities simultaneously and work independently.
• Experience supporting HR or People & Culture initiatives is a plus.
• Event coordination experience is viewed favourably.
