About the role

A locum Obstetrics & Gynaecology Registrar is required for multiple day and night shifts at a Northern Regional Hospital in NSW, from 4 November 2026 to 3 January 2027. The hospital has 20 O&G beds and 10 birthing suites. Pay is up to $300 per hour.

Key responsibilities

Work in the O&G ward, birthing suite and clinics, sharing the workload evenly across the team.
Assess patients arriving from the emergency department and liaise with the O&G consultant.
Day shifts (07:30-16:00, 8 hours) are staffed by 2-4 FTE registrars plus consultants on site; night shifts (20:00-08:00, 12 hours) have 1 FTE registrar plus consultant on call.

Required profile

Registered with AHPRA.
Right to work in Australia.
