Occupational Therapist - Personal Injury (Contracting Available)

About the role

A wellbeing, rehab and clinical health provider in Sydney is looking for an occupational therapist to support clients who have suffered catastrophic personal injuries and are rebuilding their lives. The role manages rehabilitation and recovery processes using best-practice, research-based and evidence-backed models. It is based in the Parramatta office, with work-from-home options available, and is open to both full-time and part-time candidates, including contractors.

Key responsibilities

• Manage rehabilitation and recovery processes for clients with catastrophic personal injuries
• Conduct functional independence management assessments for eligibility to the Lifetime Care Scheme
• Coordinate in-patient treatment and explore options for in-patient and out-patient rehab
• Support clients with activities of daily living (ADLs)

Required profile

• AHPRA-accredited occupational therapist
• Ideal for a hospital-based occupational therapist seeking to move into this setting
• Flexible start date

What we offer

• Full-time salary of $120,000 base plus superannuation; contracting rate of $120-$132 per hour
