Occupational Therapist for Children

About the role

A small, close-knit team near Winthrop, south of the river, is looking for an Occupational Therapist who will support children in building independence, resilience and confidence through meaningful engagement. Work takes place across clinic, school, home and community settings, so each day is varied.

Key responsibilities

• Help children develop fine and gross motor skills, emotional regulation and sensory processing
• Support self-care routines and daily living activities such as dressing, toileting and eating
• Work on school readiness, attention and concentration, and social skills and positive behaviour strategies
• Prescribe equipment and carry out functional assessments
• Support children with autism, developmental delay and sensory challenges

Required profile

• Degree in Occupational Therapy
• Full AHPRA registration
• WWCC, NDIS worker screening check and police clearance
• Valid driver's licence and own car
• Open to all experience levels; passionate new graduates are welcome
