Occupational Hygiene Technician

About the role

Join GCG as an Occupational Hygiene Technician in Perth, working alongside experienced hygienists to protect workers from health risks. This permanent, full‑time position combines fieldwork, scientific monitoring and practical problem‑solving.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor workplace exposures such as dust, chemicals, noise and vibration using sampling and monitoring equipment.
• Conduct respirator and hearing‑protection fit testing.
• Perform workplace inspections and assessments, analyse results and contribute to reports.
• Assist clients in implementing practical measures to reduce health risks.

Required profile

• Curious and willing to learn, with a practical mindset for industrial sites.
• Reliable, organised and able to communicate clearly.
• Comfortable working independently and asking questions when needed.
• Willing to travel regularly and work away from home up to 14 days in some months.
