Nurse Practitioner - Sexual and Reproductive Health

About the role

Bayside Health, a public health service covering metropolitan Melbourne, the Mornington Peninsula, Koo Wee Rup, Bass Coast and Southern Gippsland, is recruiting a Nurse Practitioner for Women's Health / Sexual and Reproductive Health in the Community Health, Hastings and Rosebud area. The role is permanent part-time (18 hours) and limited term part-time (18 hours per fortnight until December 2027). The Nurse Practitioner is an experienced registered nurse who works autonomously and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, management and treatment for clients with women's sexual and reproductive health needs
• Work within the values, knowledge and practices of the nursing profession as outlined by the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Council

Required profile

• Current General Registration and endorsement as a Nurse Practitioner with AHPRA
• Master of Advanced Nursing Practice or equivalent postgraduate qualification
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in women's sexual and reproductive health, with evidence of advanced clinical practice
• Current Primary Care Prescribing Notation under the Drugs, Poisons and Controlled Substances Act (Victoria)
• Medicare Provider Number and PBS prescriber number
