About the role
Frazer‑Nash is expanding its nuclear safety capability across defence, healthcare, energy and transport sectors. The role will support a range of high‑impact projects in Australia, including naval programmes and the country’s first radioactive waste disposal facility.
Key responsibilities
- Support safety case development for nuclear and radioactive waste projects.
- Contribute to assurance activities for naval surface ship and submarine programmes.
- Lead safety and assurance work for major rail, power generation and commercial space projects.
- Apply systems engineering and emerging technologies such as machine learning to improve safety engineering processes.
Required profile
- Bachelor of Engineering or Science (or equivalent training).
- Eligibility for UK or Australian security clearance.
- Experience in safety and assurance, preferably within defence or maritime contexts.
- Strong client‑management and stakeholder‑engagement abilities.
Required skills
- Safety engineering knowledge.
- Systems engineering experience.
- Familiarity with machine‑learning applications in safety.
