Night Auditor

About the role

The Night Auditor supports all Front Office areas at The Tasman, delivering a warm and elegant welcome to guests during the overnight shift. You will manage enquiries, coordinate arrivals and departures, and ensure every detail contributes to a seamless luxury experience.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee guest arrivals and departures, handling check‑ins, check‑outs, room allocations and adjustments.
• Process secure payments, manage room keys, and respond to guest requests and reservations efficiently.
• Verify financial figures, postings, and documents for accuracy and compliance.
• Audit and reconcile revenue postings, cashier transactions, and generate end‑of‑shift reports.
• Handle POS transactions, room service orders, and ensure cash handling follows hotel policy.
• Promote and upsell hotel venues, services, and experiences.

Required profile

• Minimum 2+ years experience in a Front Desk or customer‑service role.
• Available to work overnight shifts (approximately 11 pm – 7 am).
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a natural ability to engage guests.
• Strong attention to detail, problem‑solving abilities, and effective time management.
• Ability to handle conflict calmly and deliver elevated service consistently.

Required skills

• Proficiency with hotel operating systems.
• Experience using POS systems for transactions and reporting.
