Night Auditor – Hotel Front Desk

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Night Auditor to join our front‑desk team at Novotel Sydney City Centre. This full‑time, overnight position is ideal for a night‑owl who is guest‑obsessed, detail‑oriented and passionate about delivering exceptional hospitality.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Night Manager in balancing daily transactions and preparing overnight reports.
• Ensure guest accounts are accurate and provide clear, helpful information.
• Deliver outstanding guest service during check‑in, check‑out and throughout the night.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for guests and employees.
• Follow the Night Audit checklist to guarantee smooth operations.

Required profile

• Guest‑obsessed focus with the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, ever‑changing environment.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to provide quick‑thinking solutions.
• Clear and confident written and verbal communication.
• Availability to work 38 hours per week on overnight shifts, including weekdays, weekends and public holidays.
• Valid Australian working rights.
• Current NSW RSA and First Aid & CPR certificate, or willingness to obtain them.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with OPERA Cloud property‑management system.
