Night Auditor – Full‑time

About the role

As a Night Auditor you will support overnight operations at Hotel Chadstone Melbourne MGallery, assisting the Night Manager and acting as the primary contact for late arrivals, early departures and guest requests. You will ensure a seamless, safe and luxurious experience for all guests during the night shift.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome late arrivals and bid farewell to early departures, delivering warm, personalised service.
• Manage daily reconciliation of hotel outlets and post nightly revenue.
• Prepare and distribute accurate audit reports.
• Confirm reservation details and account information for in‑house guests.
• Collate departure paperwork and coordinate with the Front Office team.
• Respond promptly to guest enquiries, maintaining a solution‑focused approach.
• Provide a thorough handover to the Night Manager at the start and end of each shift.
• Uphold safety and security standards throughout the night.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a Night Auditor or similar front‑office role.
• Enthusiasm for delivering exceptional guest experiences with strong attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High level of computer literacy; experience with Opera Cloud PMS preferred.
• Calm and professional under pressure with strong problem‑solving abilities.
• Availability to work a 7‑day rotating roster from 11:00 pm to 7:00 am.
