New Graduate Registered Nurse – 12‑Month Program

About the role

The Vitalis New Graduate Nursing Program is a 12‑month, full‑time pathway for newly registered nurses who want to deliver high‑acuity care in the home setting. Starting September 2026, you will rotate across Greater Sydney, providing hospital‑standard treatment to patients in their own homes.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct clinical care to patients with complex, high‑acuity conditions in a home environment.
• Manage adult pain, bowel issues, mechanical ventilation, tracheostomy, and SPC (specialist palliative care) needs.
• Perform complex wound management and support palliative care plans.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including Clinical Managers and Educators, to ensure safe and effective care.
• Document care accurately and adhere to NSQHS standards.

Required profile

• AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse before the start date.
• Unlimited working rights in Australia.
• Valid driver’s licence, own car and willingness to travel across Greater Sydney.
• Availability for a rotating 24/7 roster.
