Network Administrator

About the role

Ellenbrook Secondary College is seeking an innovative and motivated Network Administrator to join its IT team. The role involves maintaining and enhancing the college’s network infrastructure to support a diverse learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the integrity, reliability and security of the school’s network.
• Collaborate with Network Support Officers on risk management and contingency planning.
• Provide technical advice and resolve hardware, software and network issues for internal and external stakeholders.
• Support the integration of WA Department of Education systems such as SIS, Connect and Compass.

Required profile

• Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience in IT/network administration.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively, adapt to changing needs and develop innovative solutions.
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to an inclusive, culturally responsive environment.

Required skills

• Experience with Windows and Mac operating environments.
• Knowledge of Cisco networking technology.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, including OneNote and Teams.
• Familiarity with WA DOE systems (SIS, Connect, Compass) is highly desirable.
