National Retail Trainer (North Ryde)

About the role

Freedom is seeking a National Retail Trainer to join its Retail Training team in North Ryde. This full‑time position will design, deliver and maintain learning solutions that support sales teams across Freedom stores in New South Wales and, when required, other Australian states and New Zealand.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the Head of Retail Training to shape the sales and product training strategy.
• Facilitate engaging workshops – both face‑to‑face and digital – for sales staff across ANZ.
• Provide 1‑2‑1 and small‑group coaching to embed product knowledge and selling techniques.
• Design blended learning programmes, including classroom sessions and online modules.
• Maintain and update content in Freedom’s Learning Management System (LMS).
• Track training completion and performance metrics to inform future learning priorities.
• Collaborate with area leaders, product and buying teams to identify skill gaps and develop targeted solutions.

Required profile

• Strong background in retail training, learning design or L&D.
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills, both in‑person and virtually.
• Ability to travel regularly across NSW and occasionally to other states or New Zealand.
• Proactive, collaborative mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.

Required skills

• Experience managing a Learning Management System (LMS).
• Proficiency in creating blended learning content (workshops, e‑learning modules).
