National Procurement Leader

About the role

The National Procurement Leader reports to the GM of Operations and Procurement and is responsible for securing product supply, managing supplier relationships, and delivering effective procurement outcomes across Lynch Group’s wholesale floral business.

Key responsibilities

• Manage purchasing activities to ensure consistent product availability.
• Build, negotiate and maintain relationships with suppliers to achieve optimal commercial terms.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as Sales & Marketing, Quality and Operations.
• Monitor demand, forecast requirements and control inventory levels.
• Coordinate logistics, resolve supply issues and oversee end‑to‑end procurement processes.
• Analyse performance data, costs and trends to support strategic decisions.
• Lead and develop a Procurement Coordinator, ensuring compliance with company policies.

Required profile

• 3–5+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing or supply chain.
• Strong negotiation and supplier management capabilities.
• Analytical mindset with experience in forecasting and planning.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, responsive environment.
• Leadership experience or readiness to step into a leadership role.
• Knowledge of import/export, logistics and international freight; experience with Latin American/Ecuadorian markets is a plus.
• Relevant tertiary qualification; Spanish language skills are advantageous.
