National Account Manager – Woolworths

About the role

The National Account Manager for Woolworths will be the day‑to‑day commercial lead for the Woolworths relationship, partnering closely with the Senior National Account Manager to drive account growth and optimise trade investment.

Key responsibilities

• Own and optimise the Woolworths trade plan to maximise sales growth and return on trade spend.
• Lead relationships with Woolworths Category Managers, ensuring strong execution and collaborative ways of working.
• Support and lead range reviews, category reviews and customer submissions.
• Monitor account performance, identify risks and opportunities, and recommend actions.
• Manage promotional planning, investment tracking, claims and commercial administration.
• Collaborate with supply chain on forecast accuracy, promotional volumes and on‑shelf availability.

Required profile

• 4‑7 years experience in FMCG sales, account or category management.
• Relevant tertiary qualification in Commerce, Business, Marketing or related discipline.
• Proven success delivering sales, profit and market‑share targets through effective account planning.
• Experience building and managing promotional programmes, trade plans and budgets.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel and analytical capability.
• Knowledge of category and shopper data platforms such as Circana/IRI, NielsenIQ, Quantium.
• Understanding of forecasting, demand planning, pricing, ranging and retailer compliance.
